This is a seven day workshop where we employ various natural building methods including cob and many other clay-based materials to build walls, floors and even a wood-fired stove.

We will discuss:

~ how to test soil for clay content

~ratios and options for binding material

~the different recipes for cob, quinche, wattle & daub, and light straw clay

~the different mixtures for successive plaster layers
